We opened a 2023 Apollo’s Praise Dry Rosé last night. Everyone at dinner enjoyed it. Crisp and refreshing. @Kelby_James_Russell

Lucky you that you have regular access to it…or do you drink very little Rosé?

Both.
But i have only 2008 onwards

Just visited A Tribute to Grace in late march and bought a Magnum of the Rose. It is delicious and was our wine for Mother’s Day!! Truly a delicious wine.

In the hotter months, we go through a good amount of whatever decent inexpensive dry rosé I can find at Grocery Outlet. Thus far in 2025, we’ve enjoyed these for $8 or less:
2022 Bernardus Winery Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence
2022 Mathilde Chapoutier Orsuro Côtes de Provence
2023 Les Vignerons Corsicans Corse Terra Nostra
2022 BP Provence Select Côtes de Provence Les Sarrins Rosé ($2.99!)

When we want a nicer rosé, Tercero is a go-to, and we’ve also been really enjoying Sabelli-Frisch lately. Croma Vera made a nice, super crisp SLO Coast Rosé of Grenache this year too.

Have really enjoyed the new 2024 Red Car rose of Pinot!

A new-to-us producer in Galicia. This looks provencal in color, but very different, all about blackberries, savory herbs and minerality with firm structure and lively acidity. A great food tool, particularly with the excellent squid ink rice.

2021 Monteraponi Rosato; sangiovese and merlot. From the producer of our favorite trebbiano, we really enjoyed this. Red fruits, some herbaceous notes and a touch of white pepper on the finish, supported by nice acid.

Thanks Kris, I’m glad you liked it, more importantly did Dana love it?

I drank my last ode to lulu from 22 recently. Delicious. I have decided I like them best with a couple years on them.
