Grew up in San Francisco, and Sonoma was my playground when I started to get into wine. Between all the restaurants and access to the wineries I have a decent introduction to Sonoma wines and the general area. Married someone from Oregon and spend years going up there to visit her parents and taste wine. Finally moved up to Oregon in 2024 and now learning this area. We drink wine with food and not so much by itself. We are more Pinot than Cabernet people but enjoy all wine as wine works so well with food. Elevating both. Like adding a spice to the food to bring out certain flavors. So much fun.
