I obviously don’t know the store/how poor the conditions are…but unless it’s sitting in a shop with no air conditioning and direct sunlight blasting it all day long…i bet it will be fine (it’s not that old of a bottle) ![]()
Ha not that old for you! But actually it is the perfect age for me. The store is a typical big retail store but they had at least 20 of these a couple of years ago and the ones I bought were all good. Shocked they still have 9 left. I think next time I am near the store (it is by a reservation where I walk my dogs) I will try one. Didn’t take much convincing!
No doubt it has tons of life left, but I don’t see how it can be better than it is now. Will a couple of years be a problem? I doubt it.
Awesome, thanks David! I think I’ll look to drink mine soon then. Thanks for the note/feedback!
After taking my first delivery of Bedrock wines this past October, I’ve been trying to keep my hands off them but this one was staring at me asking why wait? Well, this is fresh & lively, with floral and spice on the nose and good acidity, fruit, and nice minerality on the palate. It’s a good drink and I like it. That said, I’m sensing this evolves and becomes an even more interesting wine with some time on it.
They do!. I’ve had Compagni Portis with 10+ years on them and they become very complex.
Opened a 21’ Bedrock Heritage, this is one of the better Zinfandel blends I’ve ever had. Kudos to @Morgan_Twain-Peterson.
