It’s my wife that has the issue, just to be clear. Something about boxes everywhere when we have two wine fridges, blah blah blah

With my wife, the story she tells to others always has an ever-increasing number of bottles in the cellar, every time she tells it. I always correct her (and many of us know how well THAT goes, correcting one’s spouse in front of others) which may be the reason she keeps raising the number!

Just remember the value of a very full wine closet in a weather event. All that thermal mass (along with some decent insulation) saved my personal stock in the January freeze in Nashville!! 10 burst copper pipes but the wine cellar never dipped below 32F over a 5-day power outage in sub-20’s temps outside. Keep that cellar STUFFED!! It’s just safety…

It is a little confusing when you are first starting out, as it is completely free to join the community… There are a few paid membership tier options though, to help support the site. Today the Vindependence forum is open to anyone who has joined at the Grand Cru Cru level (as well as to the Monopole Cru, who had access yesterday). Link to show you how to join is here: Link for paid membership levels Grand Cru Cru is a very small annual fee, gets early access here for Vindependence and Berserker Days, and also has no ads. otherwise the forum is open for all tomorrow! cheers!
