CURRENT EDIT ON EXISTING THREAD:
To reiterate, how VinDependence Days works:
Friday: Monopole Crü members only.
Saturday: Grand Cru Crü members join.
Sunday: Open to everyone.
I will send group PMs out to each group on the day they have access, around 7am ish Pacific. Nowhere near as much ‘housekeeping’ as I have on BerserkerDay so it should be pretty close to that time, as I’ll have little need to put out early morning fires, make last minute changes, etc.
Offer threads appear as each group gets access, so links above will fill in day by day. Anyone can join Monopole Crü or Grand Cru Crü at any time, including right now if you’d rather not wait.
A year ago I floated the idea of a mid-summer mini-BerserkerDay as a relief valve for struggling winemakers. You all showed up — 29 sellers, hundreds of buyers, $332,000+ in wine sold in four days. Zero cannibalization of BerserkerDay 17 in January. Every seller who gave feedback said they’d do it again. (event linked below)
So let’s do it again. July, same general window, same spirit.
But this year I want to evolve it based on what we learned, and I want your input before we finalize the format.
What’s changing: tiered access
VinDependence Days 2026 will roll out in waves, with one important addition on the seller side:
Sellers: This year, posting offers is limited to BerserkerBusiness members only. If you’re a winery, producer, or vendor who wants to participate and isn’t yet a BerserkerBusiness member, reach out to me directly — it’s a straightforward process. This keeps the seller pool curated and the event quality high, and clearly demonstrates additional benefits to BerserkerBusiness members in addition to the early BerserkerDay accessibility.
Monopole Crü members get first access on the buyer side — Day 1 only. Best allocations, first crack at limited offers. This is the tangible benefit your $100/year membership earns you beyond the badge.
Grand Cru Crü members get access starting Day 2. Still well ahead of the crowd, still meaningful.
General members and the public get access Days 3-4. Everything still available (unless sold out!), no one locked out permanently — just rewarded based on commitment to the community.
Sellers post their offers once. The tiered access is purely on the buyer side — winemakers and producers don’t need to do anything differently. I’ll control group access like I do for BerserkerDay.
Why this format?
Because this community is built on membership and trust. MC and GCC members have put real money into supporting Wine Berserkers. VinDependence Days should reflect that — exclusive early access is something we can offer that has genuine value, particularly for limited-production wines where allocation matters.
It also creates something for sellers that BerserkerDay itself can’t offer in the same way: a quieter, more intimate first wave with your most committed buyers, before the broader community joins in.
Let’s build this together and discuss further. Save the dates: July 10-13, 2026?
