What BEER are you drinking? (Part 2)

What a find! Fresh Fou is freaking fantastic!

(Nice price, too.)

Anchorage Blessed. At $117 a 375ml bottle or whatever the price is it’s nice to sample at $10 for 5oz. I couldn’t imagine a full glass. Rich, syrupy, boozy and delicious. Everything I like in a big bba stout. Apparently a rare one to see on tap(?)

Notes of pine, citrus, and grass. Very enjoyable.

This had a lot of buzz late last year - always packed. I was not impressed.

Whick Monkish? I’m a fan of their Anaheim location - proximity to Unsung (and all the other Anaheim breweries) is great

Julian, I am spoiled to have Torrance Monkish about 15 min. from home, and only a few min. out of my way coming home from work, so that’s always the one I go to.

Our collaboration with Van and Ben!

I used to like this a lot in college. Saw it on sale so grabbed a 6er. Not a great as I remember.

Monkish - “Brain Boxes” West Coast Pilsner, with Citra and Mosaic

Fabulous Milk Stout from Cerveceria Sinestra en CDMX. Cacao and Marigolds & Figs, just lovely beer without alcoholic spirits dominating the profile.

Stays cool I’ll be back for more.

Going to be in CDMX next month - any other breweries worth checking out?

Falling Piano, Cyprez tasting room, Drunkendog all get recommendations too.

Fond memories of hanging at Alesong during their first few years, way out by King Estate.

Burp.

Drinking in Stockholm. It’s a smoked ale for Ardbeg. Tasted like Guiness. And yes I did an Ardbeg flight.
