The Pirika was quite good, but I would just drink Bobtoberfest until I couldn’t drink anymore. Sooo good.
James, sorry I missed you. We have a number of really strong beers right now. Both Pilsners are really superb, and Bobtoberfest is my current favorite. The Helles got a 99 from Craft Beer & Brewing, and Scott likes the Pirika. We even have an IPA, god forbid!

Overdosing on beer this week, but went for a changeup.
Anchorage Brewing Company’s “A Deal With the Devil.” Bit of a variant as a double oaked vanilla bean barleywine. “7 months in Woodford Reserve double oaked barrels, 6 months in Elijah Craig barrels. Finished on Madagascar vanilla beans.”

How much does this go for now? $300? Not really my style but long ago when the pricing on it was somewhat sane I would imbibe and enjoyed it for what it was.
LOL I traded some wine for it and 10-12 other bottles a while back. Who needs Jamet Cote Rotie, anyways
