I started into my 2016s as well with Bedrock Heritage a few weeks back. Delicious. Plenty of fruit with energy and structure to keep it lively. Really great and excited for more from the vintage.
Does the podcast usually go up over the weekend before the release?
I feel like it usually does and was also surprised to see a new episode had not dropped yet

Just listened to the podcast discussion, thanks. Iām curious as to the vision for the solera as you add to and take from it. If you are trying to get to that ālegacyā wine you discussed at the end, does that mean that you are still adding more wine to it every year than you are drawing from it to bottle, so that the āaverageā age of wine in barrel will continue to increase? Or are you more at āequilibriumā now where you (generally) will draw out and add similar quantities (adjusted for evaporation) each year? Do you intend to do a release annually or less often? Iād love a deeper dive into some of these issues at some point, either here or in a future podcast or Substack column. Looking forward to it!

Another crazy release. What a fantastic array of wines. My resolve to buy less and keep the percentage of Bedrock in my cellar down (yes @Rich_Brown , I know you can never have too much Bedrock) gets tested once again. Thanks, I think, @Morgan_Twain-Peterson

I pulled a glass of 2024 Dolinsek from coravin last night to check in before this release.
Damn it! Itās just absolutely delicious wine! My wife took a whiff and said āThis is what all red wine should smell likeā
Planning to go in for a mixed 6 pack and maybe add some more after tasting at the October pickup day.
It appears 2025 was a very good growing season so Iām hoping that translates well into the wines!
