Pulled a 2005 Ravenswood Bedrock Vineyard Cab Sauv that was still very much alive. Color was ruby and the little sediment that remained in bottle was very fine. Red fruit/cherry with resolved tannin. Delicious. Will be ordering our other bottle from storage for spring delivery.

I am a believer in boxed, quality wine. We’ve had a few boxed GSM’s from Linne Calodo and love the by the glass delivery. Bummed when I saw the high shipping.

2023 Bien Nacido Chardonnay. Delicious. Fleshy but with balance. Love the depth of fruit with the bones this has. Of course this is the thread of Pagani and BR Heritage, as it would be. But the whites are slamming too. Especially on a mid 70s So Cal mid January kind of day.

Glad this showed for you! The one I opened was a tight, reductive mess for nearly a week and only then showed a pleasing lean CA profile. Maybe shipping shock or bottle shock or who knows. I’ve put the other two in with a mixed bin of some other chards that I plan to leave well enough alone for 5-10 years.
