Currently sitting on 220 bottles of Champagne, including 56 from Cedric Bouchard (the majority of which were purchased pre-pandemic at far lower prices, although I do still take an annual allocation as I love these wines!).
Thatās a pretty good stash of Cedric Bouchard. Iāve accumulated a decent chunk of bottles now, unfortunately -a lot after the prices escalated a bit, but oh well.
One of my more prized assets in the collection, for sure
Although as you can imagine, itās a lot easier (i.e. cheaper) to stack up VV than the other cuvees. Iām about 60:40 VV:other.
511 bottles of champagne cellared (percentages as a portion of champagne)
Bouchard 38.2%
Prevost 8.0%
Ledru 5.5%
Domaine Leon 3.5%
Ulysse Collin 2.7%
(Similar to others above, was a very aggressive buyer of Bouchard from 2018-2022, havenāt bought a ton of new release the last two years, but backfilled some older bottles)
Yeah that seems about right for me too, probably closer to 50/50 for me.
Curious for those cellaring Laherte. Which did you decided to lay down / go deep on?
- Jeeper
- Marie Courtin
- Franck Bonville
- Hugues Godme

Les Grandes Crayeres. I have a nice vertical going that Iāll use blind in parts for some of my group as time goes along.
And to a degree, Les Empreintes. I did the 13 and 14 side by side several months ago for the group. The 13 was outstanding. If i can find some more 16, Iāll backfill it.
Most of the rest of the range I just buy and drink. The wines are fantastic.

- Egly-Ouriet
- Laherte Freres

All of them? Seriously, I have multiple vintages of each of Grandes Crayeres, Vignes dāAutrefois, Longues Voyes, and Beaudiers, as well as a good bit of BdB and RosĆ© de Meunier.

is my top 5, a total of 390 bottles of Champagne in my cellars
Way too little Champagne in my cellar and not much focus (except for the fact that almost all of it is grower) but Lilbert and Bereche are best represented.
Just a few of the 2014. Iām not really sure why, but maybe more limited allocations of it than of the others from my main source?
What FMIII said. In addition to Crayeres and Emprientes, I have a couple of Les Longues Voyes.
How would you describe Ledruās style?
I have a lot of champagne. The hierarchy surprised me.
- Krug (mostly GC)
- Vilmart (CdC, GCdāO, Emotion)
- Roederer (Essentially all Cristal)
- Taittinger (all Comtes BdB, except scant Comtes rosƩ)
- Egly-Ouriet
DP is a close 6th.
- Bollinger (pre-70s)
- Krug
- Egly-Ouriet
- Ulysse Colin
- Chavost
Chavost is my go-to regular drinker so have a fair bit in my drinking fridge. I bought a ton of old Bollinger at auction years ago. Itās lovely but not a daily drinker.
