Dear << Test First Name >>,
Please refer to two late release cases from the thrilling 1982 Vintage, which sits alongside Cheval Blanc as one of the finest crus of the appellation in this year.
Chateau Canon 19821er Grand Cru Classe St Emilion
"The 1982 Canon is far from being the most consistent wine of the vintage, but good bottles can show brilliantly, offering up aromas of rich berry fruit, cigar wrapper, black truffles and loamy soil, followed by a medium to full-bodied, broad and fleshy palate that’s muscular and textural, with a deep core of cassis-like fruit and a long, lusty finish, where chalky tannins still assert themselves. This tasting note reflects the wine at its best.Drink 2009-2030". 94 William Kelley, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate (Tasted 30th Dec 2022)

There is a ‘21 Shibumi Knoll Chardonnay from a vineyard I am not familiar with, Corazon del Rio, may take a flyer on it based on how much I dug a past vintage of their Buena Tierra Vnyd Chardonnay.
A few years ago (wow time flies) I got a bottle of Krug 168 for $100, and 3x Bollinger ‘12 LGA for $108 each. Not expecting to seeing anything like that today, but now the code plus Amex stack feels like just getting to a fair price.
Yeah, that would be good. And to what @joejolesch said- used to be able to pluck a bubbly occasionally. I just took a quick look and its mostly a pass for me.
Sadly the Reserva was out of stock by the time I got to it but the 04 Gran Reserva is still available and $170 below the next cheapest price in the US.
Yeah, they had sharp pricing on both the 04 Tondonia GR ($179.99) as well as the 04 Bosconia GR ($194.96) compared to the pricing that is generally listed online.
