It’s a place where you can occasionally get good deals but not often. Back when I lived in west LA and they still had a store on Westwood blvd and had a tent sale, they had 375s of 2001 Yquem at the sale for like $179. Also van winkle lot b for <300 but that ship sailed a long time ago.
true—in the 80s I lived a two minute walk away but only was successful buying if I held the purchase at the checkout counter with both hands. Other confirmed phone orders were always later cancelled, even after credit card was charged. I never ever buy online or via phone from them.
Yeah I do sometimes but have about a 33% success rate.

Right now if you try to add it to basket, it says “Unfortunately this product is not available for purchase.”
I hope people actually get them! Right now the last thing I need is more hudelot Bourgogne, as good as it is.

For the folks that had it, are the CT reviews on the 2015 Hudelot Bourgogne a fair accessment? Just curious.
I found it less to my liking than other vintages. I had it sometime mid last year and it was a bit bigger and showed the heat. I’m guessing it was better when it had more fruit. But with the qualification that I prefer Chambolle from cooler vintages like 2014 generally. (I believe this is mostly declassified Chambolle, someone please correct me if I’m wrong) However at $30 it’s still very good and worth it.
