Fantastic time with all of you. Great people, great wine, and great food (props to Raul for getting us there!) leads to a great time. Can’t wait to get the next one set up.
As I mentioned to everyone, Maas in Fort Lauderdale doesn’t have corkage on Wednesdays but I also met their somm at a Wine Watch event and he would welcome us in pretty much any night. Union Kitchen & Bar is also always an option as Roberto (and his wife the chef’s food) is awesome. Start pondering everyone. And if anyone plans on going to a Union Kitchen & Bar or Wone Watch tasting or dinner, please reach out. Laurie and I go to lots of those.
It was great seeing everyone last week. I have a small favor to ask. Would you all mind completing a brief survey for my daughter?
She’s taking a wine business class for school and working on a consulting project for the class. This survey is to inform that project. The survey is anonymous, mostly multiple choice, and less than 20 questions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Was at Union Kitchen & bar last night for a New Zealand wine tasting. Fun stuff! Talked to Roberto. He would welcome us in for another Bizerker wine dinner any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Tuesdays can be tough and are too early in the week. I will shortly send out some dates in late February/early March and let’s see if we can get the group together. Maas or Union would be great but open to other suggestions too.
Thursdays are always good.
We’re in Chas Feb 19,
Then we are here through Mar 19.
Regardless of the theme, we always drink Burgundy on Thursdays (our 20th year without a miss).
If any folks here attend local tastings/events, GD Vajra will be at Vinoteca in the Grove next Wednesday 2/18 - they’re one of my favorite Piedmont producers (well, of the few that I know to date).
