Season in South Florida

Any of you iguana chasers want to get together this season?
We’re in Delray, but could be persuaded to schlep south, or people could head here. Mike and Laurie Green arrive in Lauderdale in early Jan. I think @david_lazer is in Port St-Lucie (would love to see you again).
@Sherr1_Shap1r0 can moderate (lol).

Im in Miami but would be up to something in Ft. Lauderdale, although I’ve been known to make a mean paella

Laurie and I actually get down to our place in Fort Lauderdale the week before Christmas. With Scott and Pam in Delray and Raul in Miami, I think a PERFECT midway spot would be… Fort Lauderdale. Depending on the total numbers, Laurie and I happily will offer up our place for pre-gaming at least. We live right off Las Olas with tons of restaurants, many of whom offer corkage. Let’s make it happen!!

Hi Scott: With a few exceptions, we are in Port St. Lucie until early May. We’d be happy to get together and share some good wine.

Too bad Trump won, I would have come in.

We head to Charleston to do family Christmas beginning the 18th, but we’ll be back in Delray on the 30th. Let’s try to set up something in Jan.

Feel free to spread the word. Right now we are just looking at a single event; I’m not ready to try to duplicate the madness of my Charleston event in FL.

I’ll be around so just let me know the plan. Fort Lauderdale is an ideal meetup location for us in Miami.

I should be available in January. Looking forward to getting together

I’ll be around as well, I’ll have my family in town until January 7th but after that I’m game.

Maybe some Lauderdale folks can suggest a venue. HRH and I like all cuisines.
Then maybe a theme?
Can’t wait to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones.

I’ll be over on Fort Myers Beach until 1/5. I should be ok afterwards. Cheers!

We are good 1/2-14 and 1/23-31 but not the 29th.

Fort Lauderdale checking in. I’m interested if the date and time works!

We will be in Charleston Feb 18ish through Feb 26ish, but are otherwise available Jan-Mar.
We generally do 6-7 months per year in Delray, but can’t miss spring and fall in Charleston.

As the Fort Lauderdale locals (at least from December through April), Laurie and I volunteer to find the right spot with great food and reasonable corkage for a killer wine dinner. I’ll report back soon.

You da man!

Try Union Kitchen. Roberto there (owner) is pretty good about bringing wine and they have a pretty big space

Phil- I see you are in Fort Lauderdale too. That could be the beginning of a good core wine group in the FLL! I’ll definitely check out Union Kitchen soon as my wife and I will be down for the winter starting this Friday. Also noticed that Union Kitchen does a Wine Down Tuesday. Would be happy to meet there on a Tuesday and share a bottle or two!

Me too - just have to plan it out since my schedule these days is pretty crazy! I’ll try to make something work if we can
