The ability to order small numbers of bottles and pay only $4/per bottle shipping is much appreciated.
Strongly agree! Rivers-Marie isn’t one of them, but there are lists that I’d rather scale back on than drop, but the shipping proposition doesn’t make sense for ordering only 2-3 bottles…
Thank you for keeping shipping reasonable!
I think they do everything in the highest class manner possible.
Order in! Didn’t get an allocation for the Summa Vineyard wines. I’m sure those went quickly.
Easy choice to grab a 6 pack of Sonoma Coast Chardonnay/Pinot Noir this round. I’ll get some more SVD’s next year.
Damn that Summa went quick, left for a meeting came back and it was gone. For shame, always next release!
I figured out shipping but missed Summa. Got some Old Summa though!
Order in, stoked.
Second regarding shipping. $4 per bottle on a three pack is nice for a first timer. Get to try it out and make a decision for next year.
I’m in the same boat…had to just take a 6 pack of SC chard and pinot. Hate to end my streak of SVD purchases, but getting married, buying a house, etc within the last year has crushed my wine purchase dreams for a while.
Thanks for the help as always Will. My indecisiveness never ends…
Ended up in the same boat, missed Summa but got an Old Summa though so not a bad trade off.
If anyone is interested, Thomas Rivers Brown makes well priced wines and tasty for Chiarello…including a “California orange wine.”
I also got to try a TOR Kenward cab franc and it was delicious.
He is one of the winemakers whose palate I would follow from winery to winery.
Anton… isn’t Jeff Ames the winemaker at TOR??
Oh, crap!
I could have sworn they told me Thomas Rivers Brown! You are stone cold right, of course!
(I was at Ma(i)sonry, and maybe transposed names. Could it be Round Pond?)
Sorry for my doofus-ness!
In for a mixed six. Three SC chards, two SC Pinot and one Silver Eagle. I was offered everything else and really wanted to buy, buy, but, but I am being a good boy.
Running out of space (okay, I’m completely out of space) but couldn’t resist the 2 Thieriot chards I was allocated.
I’m out of luck too, having moved to MA last year. Oh well!
In for 3 SC Pinot and 1 Silver Eagle; my money tree is a little low on leaves .
Mixed Six seems like a popular number: 3 SC Pinot, 1 SC Chard, 2 Occidental.
+1. These have been pretty incredible.
