Order in, but pretty bummed I missed out on both Summa’s and OCC. The first vintage since 08’ I won’t have any of the 3 in my cellar.
All is well…Will is the man! Go Dubs!
As is the 2015 version.
Crap. You snooze, you lose. I was traveling last week and didn’t have a chance to log in and order until today. Everything is gone!
On a related note, I’ve opened a few R-M Pinots from 2008-2011 in the past few weeks and have been really impressed with how they are evolving. Just when I had recommitted to buying from R-M going forward (in the midst of dropping most of our other remaining California Pinot lists), I missed the release.
Jay - in the future if you know you will not be able to get to a computer on release day, just reach out to Will ahead of time and he will take care of you. The customer service is world class.

I am in the same boat. Was out of the country with no access to phone and horrible internet (couldn’t stay connected long enough to order).
There is always next year! Luckily, these wines will be great year in and year out.
Exact same situation. Traveling last week and logged in and all gone. Well better luck next year.
Just want to add to others who have noted the excellent customer service.
I was doing inventory, and realized that the 2012 Summa Old Vines I had in CT, was not the Old Vines in the physical world- it was the regular Summa. I ordered and paid for the Old Vines, but received the regular. This really was my mistake since I should have caught the problem when I first received the wine.
I sent an email to Will and he quickly offered me a choice of several options to resolve the problem.
Let me emphasize that this was the 2012 Summa, and Will was still very gracious in offering to resolve it.
I wish all of the retailers I buy from had this level of service.
Thanks Will!!
Has anyone heard when the 2018 release will happen?

It’s usually the same every year. First release 3rd Tuesday of January. And per the website.

Pretty sure of the above info but sure someone (maybe Will) wil chime in.
I have tasted the 2015 Lore, Panek, Calistoga, and Napa bottlings.
IMO, some of the best young wines I’ve ever had, and at that price point? A no brainer.
Especially the Lore and Napa- those two are singing right now with an hour decant.
i just wish that I had backed up the truck with my full allocation…

Well you can next time around. The January release will prob be Pinot Noir only.
Wine.com has the 2015 Napa for $99 per. Just waiting on one of their 10% off coupons and I’ll snatch up more to lay down for a couple years…
Happy New Year everyone - the next release will be on the 16th for the 2016 Pinots. The Chards will have their own mailer a month later. Cabs will be third Tuesday in July per usual.
Thank you for the info, Gents!
Anyone know when they will notify new applicants if they’ve been rejected from this year’s allocation?
