Pre Berserker Day Shout Outs -- What are you excited about?

Someone is going to accept that challenge.

I am going to miss it this year We will be somewhere between Honolulu and Rangiroa. My wine budget (as if I had one) will shrink this year.

Meant only in the context of BerserkerDay. Such a pity she’s not there every year.

Confirmed via Bloomberg article that quoted Marcus directly.

I have never purchased anything from Goodfellow. I have no clue why this is so, but I intend to rectify this this year.

I’ve bought too much Patricia Green from WTSO, but god I love @Jim_Anderson’s wine. I’m sure I’ll be picking up that offer. Hoping to see Our Wines again. Polished off that whole case last year. Hoping to see more domestic bubbly and will certainly jump on @Marcus_Goodfellow offer (if it is offered to us Grand Cru proletariat); have a feeling that is going to be world class. All Oregon all the time.

Thanks man. We have a couple of pretty great offers in the hopper right now.

Next week we’re going to go through the magnum inventory and see if there’s anything to work with there. Probably is.

Absolutely! I do not know what @Richard_Albert has in store this Berserker Day, but I imagine that whatever he has to offer will be excellent and in great condition. Richard knows a great deal about wine, and about the bottles that he has to offer. I am looking forward to seeing what he has!

Totally agree with all of this! Photo below of a few gems from the ‘UC Davis Cellar’ that Richard offered a handful of years ago

Let me ask a prompt:

If you had say a budget of $200-$300, no cellar space and want wines to “drink now” what would you go with?

I’m thinking some beef and goodfellow sparkling if I can get my hands on it.

Well this doesn’t really fit your prompt…

But without knowing certain offers, I agree with @Patrick_Taylor. His style leans more drink now than most.

You beat me to it
