He’s the worst. His prices are obscene
The don’t change their margins. EP for this was ~$38 ($458x12btls). Probably the winery just had leftover. There is a ton of BdX out there.
That’s gonna take you quite a while.
Saw this yesterday. This does not seem like a very good price. Looks like this is available for much less at many retailers
$299 in Kansas City.
$300 at Billco’s in Napa - and can play darts and pool while you down it!
A few new markdowns in SLO that I noticed: 2020 Tignanello at $99.97 (seems like a great price but still out of my personal range), 3L of 2020 Nozzole Chianti Riserva at $39.97, Lanson Black Label at $29.97, 1.75L Knob Creek Rye at $29.97.
2020 Cos got reduced in price to $199.99, and there are still plenty of 2020 Bordeaux on the shelves in the $30-100 range. They’re definitely not moving like the 2019s did.
Nice!
That’s a really good price! It’s roughly what it costs at the winery in Reims. In Oregon it’s north of $50.
Rare to see good rioja in costco but Redwood City has a few cases of El Puntido. not sure the vintage or cost as I was in a hurry and only know its there from talking w a guy next to me waiting at the exit who had 24 bottles in his cart. may have to go back tomorrow to grab some
Man, I really feel like Denver hasn’t gotten anything exciting from a value perspective since the 2019 BDX
Which Costco wines have secondary market value?
Yeah, I didn’t buy any wine after maxing out my budget on Berserker Day, but I did pick up two of these. That will probably cover my cocktail needs for a couple of years
Pretty well all the 2019 Bordeaux.
Sweet, I stopped by yesterday and picked up a 3L of the 2020 Ducru. Although I was expecting it to come in its own OWC, these actually came in a 3 pack. I can hardly finish a 750ml as it is, I don’t know when im ever going to open this.
I want one so bad for a birth year bottle for my youngest. Killer price. Would display it and open when she gets married or something someday ha!
Spoiler alert
It’s just gonna sit there forever and haunt you
The Glendale AZ store has the 2021Kirkland Oakville cabernet for $20. An excellent bottle to drink now or cellar.
I agree that the Oakville Cabernet is very on for 2021 is very tasty even on Poppin poor. And I think it will get better with age.
