Is this first since Covid or 2nd?
2019 futures were initially offered at the beginning of Covid. Those are coming to Costco now.
Huh?
Some more 2019 Bordeaux appearing at a few of the SF Peninsula stores……Issan, Marquis and Echo de Lynch-Bages.
The Echo is a really good wine. Buy and drink now or hold for a few years. I got a couple and should have gotten a couple more.
Did this call ever happen? If not, I’d love to join. If so, how did it go? Thanks for fighting the good fight!
I hasn’t. I think she was out of the office and then I had travel. Will let you know.
What did vcc and Palmer cost?
Both were $200.
Let her know the Midwest has similar issues…
Anyone has found any 19 Bdx in Texas lately ?
Redwood City costco. Finally some decent 2019 bdx
And some rhys too
I grabbed 2 bottles each of D’issan and Marquis.
Wow, that’s something to see Rhys there.
I was just thinking the same.
For Western Washington folks, both Kirkland and Woodinville have '19 Ducru at $144.99. Woodinville location is just outside King County too so a substantial 2% savings in sales tax Both locations also have the '19 Clerc Milon for $60 – I bought one in the morning yesterday, slow-oxed it all day, enjoyed last night and went back for more today.
Thanks @Alex_Frank, got a Ducru at Woodenville today. Have never had the grand vin, but liked a 2019 la croix I tried a few months ago and figured this was my best shot at getting an “almost affordable “ bottle at 145. Hopefully it will be good in 15-20 years!
This is not new; the Rhys/Alesia bottlings have been appearing in MV and RWC for several years now.
