New York City, aka Manhattan and the boroughs BYO

I know this topic was brought up in the past in broader BYOB discussion. But things change quickly and I am targeting specific area that I will be at tomorrow. Anyone knows BYOB or low corkage (up to $30) in Lower Manhattan.
Thanks

Check out NYC restaurant thread.

Noreetuh would be my choice.

This is the thread where folks post corkage.
Many are day of the week specific.

Thanks. I found one more - https://www.tartine.nyc/. Looks like a good place for informal dinner. They have alcohol but would let you bring first BYOB for free for party of two and then charge $15 for the second. Party of four they will double number of exempt bottles and so on.

Still $25. You should bring a couple Monfortino’s. They are the perfect pizza wine and I know the rest of your party (well at least one) would enjoy them.

Nice try!

Yesterday we went to Tartine on the corner of 11th and 4th streets. BYOB (one free bottle for two people, then $15), decent French food. No reservations. I brought $100 bottle of wine that otherwise would cost me three times more. The place is small and a bit tight but feels cozy. There are also tables outside.

How were the stems?

Sorry. They were decent size. Not to my liking as I prefer super large glasses but manageable.

Ha I thought you made a good dad joke

I like that joke. But then I thought it might went not too well and was a bit rude as you were genuinely curious. Anyways, Tartine is a good place for informal dinner with friends sharing couple of bottles with accent on wine, not on food which is decent but nothing spectacular. I will go back.

I used to attend mucho wine dinners at Tartine 20+ years ago. I have no recall on why we stopped doing dinners there. Glad to hear it’s still around.
