New York City, aka Manhattan and the boroughs BYO

I’d pay a fixed $150 at other high end restaurant rather than visit this one

Ci Siamo $35 is a great option in the area around Hudson Yards. Enjoyed it a couple days ago.

KJUN Is $20 /bottle but they’ll waive it if you buy a dinner set (sets range $65-115 I think). Bring your own stems though.

Little Alley is $20 / bottle. Fantastic Shanghainese food in Murray Hill

Nontraditional BYO in a music shop variety show in the west village. No corkage to my knowledge… (I guess if you count $23 music tix corkage…)

Never mind the corkage, who is making the pot roast?

Just a reminder that I stopped updating this thread a long time ago.

Ironically, a very useful update.

I’ve been to this event when it was a $5 open mic and the quality of acts was … Uhh… Let’s call it inconsistent.

On the plus side, the Music Inn is a straight shot from Temperance bar, which pours BTG for 50% off after 10:30 pm.

refreshingly clear corkage policy on the first page of the wine list from mina’s new steakhouse:

To complement our wine list, we are happy to open bottles from our guest’s cellars. There is a $60 corkage fee per bottle for the first two 750 ml bottles and $125 corkage fee for each 750ml bottle thereafter.

I recall last year quite a few places had special summer corkage deals. Has anyone seen similar this year, or is the NYC restaurant scene so hot does that anymore?

Was at Naro last week, which is in the Rockerfeller Center, and they have no corkage every Sunday. It’s a pretty good korean restaurant from the folks at Atomix.

I have a resy at Razza in a couple of weeks and I can’t find any byo/corkage info. Does anyone know what their current policy is?

Thanks!

Last time I went about six months ago, it was $25. I’ve been when it was $0, $15, $25 so it has changed over the years and you may want to give them a call.

Kochi has no corkage Thursdays with a limit of 2 bottles. $75 on other days.

Give them a call to confirm but when I was there a few weeks ago I believe it was $25. They also have stemless glassware so I usually bring my own glass.

Excellent, thank Bryan. I tried calling, but I just get a recorded message, but no way to contact a real person. I will bring my wine bag with me just in case. If we have to buy off the list, so be it, but the food is the priority this time.

I’m pretty sure you can get thru to someone when you call during open hours but you should have no problem at all bringing your bottle!

We are going Tuesday, I will let you know how it goes.

A couple of winemakers from Italy in town. One is staying in Jersey City so looking for a spot in the West Village or nearby - best if not Italian. Monday night so hopefully someone has a corkage deal. I remember Left Bank did but haven’t been there in many years. Ideas…?

One white street - corkage is $10 on Monday. Hawksmoor is the same. You also have Wu’s Wonton King that is no corkage.
