Thanks for the suggestion. I had tried them already. Nothing available for a group of 8…
Will definitely give them a shot in the future though.

Thanks Charlie, I am going to give this a try……
Nice, more free mon/tues
Would love to join, but I am booked Mon-Thur.
The wife and I are spending Fri-Sun though and if anyone is available we are open Sat night…
Returning to l’Attelier on Friday for what will hopefully be as great a meal as we had last year. All things considered, we preferred it to Guy Savoy (which was certainly very good.)
If you don’t mind very casual, we’ve quite enjoyed Nakamura-Ya for their weird but delicious Italian-Japanese fusion.
Has anyone dined at Superfrico at the Cosmo lately? Going there next weekend for my son’s bday. I’ve tried contacting the restaurant a couple times about their corkage policy, to no avail, so if anyone has info that would be helpful too.
I was just at Momofuku in Cosmo and it was $50 (waived). I’d text the AI concierge at the hotel and they will get you to the correct person right away I bet. I was surprised how well it worked when I had any questions.
Thanks this worked like a charm! And the answer, for anyone that was wondering, is $50 corkage
Excellent…really surprised me how efficient it was!
Please follow up with your experience. It somehow evaded my radar, but sounds like it might be a fun spot.
Was there last September. Didn’t have wine with me so unsure of corkage. Wine list was pretty decent… had an Egly Ouriet. Be sure to get the table side mozzarella and linger after your meal if you haven’t seen the penguin yet…
Anyone have a recommendation for a relaxed place to get good cocktails or wine? Staying at the Venetian with my friend - mid 40 year old guys, not looking for a “scene”. Could be an afternoon or evening thing depending on how the night goes. Would prefer close to the Venetian if possible, or even by Freemont area as we are headed there one night and staying by the Venetian the other night.
I’ve been looking for similar and bookmarked this place in the Venetian.
Looks like a cool, hidden lounge.
Wally’s would be a great place to get good wine, reasonably close to Venetian.
Between Fremont and the Venetian is the Arts District. Garagiste Wine Merchant in the Arts District is a great wine bar with a very good, broad selection.
And good eats around the corner at Esther’s Kitchen- we had a v good lunch there last week. Interesting/geeky/well-priced wine list and good cocktails. food was tasty.
Went to the restaurant last week and it was really good. If we find ourselves at The Venetian again, we’ll go again.
Esther’s is great. Also, they’ll waive corkage per bottle purchased off of their list. Seems fair to me!
Just got back from Dead and Company at the Sphere, which was other worldly.
Eating notes:
Sparrow and Wolf was a great take. Even though wine list leans a little natty for my tastes, we had no problem bringing in a couple of bottles and grabbing one from their list. Ruby was our Somm for the evening. She happily waived corkage for us.
After a lot of back and forth, we did Delmonico in the Venetian for our big steak dinner. No complaints at all. Food was great and with just a little bit of digging into the list, found great values from Chablis(2010 Romai Collet Valmur) and Hermitage(2000 Chave). We also brought along a 1.5L that corkage was waived for.
No hesitation in recommending either spot.
We are going in a couple of weeks and only have one free night for a nice dinner. I think our other dinners before the Sphere shows may have to be a happy hour or something like that nearby the venue.
Sparrow and Wolf menu looks really interesting, and they have some veggie options for me.
This might be a good option for us, and it looks like they have tables available the night we have open.
Also wondering about Mother Wolf at Fontainebleau. Has anyone been?
Lotus is likely gonna be the best answer, with good veggie options.
