EXTENDED $150 to Clear Out Our Warehouse. Final Franny Beck Closeouts $150 Delivered

Just now emailed you and vinoshipper to cancel. Thanks but warming up here and doesn’t seem to be date when you know these will go out

I have no dog in this “fight” other than 2 cases ordered on BD.

Sure, I get the frustration. Perhaps it would have been wise to include the wine on offer are unlabeled and (and many of us would have then assumed Franny Beck is at the end of the line due to discontinuing operations), but hindsight is 20/20 and that’s probably more sausage making behind the scenes than many winemakers would prefer.

That being said, I think a bit of grace should be on offer. Michael is making his wines available at a fraction of what they could/should charge, seemingly to sell off existing inventory to loyal customers.

Doesn’t seem like an early April labeling is in the cards. I would be surprised if wines aren’t held until it’s safe to do so…

Vinoshipper has already confirmed order cancelled and charges reversed. Also a couple of emails from Michael standing behind whatever outcome. If it wasn’t the uncertainty of when these will ship I would have been good. And yes I’ve been burned a couple of times lately so there is that. 74F here this morning and 84F this afternoon, Michael made no offer to hold when I expressed my temperature concerns, was not expecting him to, although I did not explicitly ask.

I don’t mind unlabeled wine. I do mind a promise to ship in March that didn’t happen. Still waiting and it’s getting warm here.

Yeah, just send me the wine and the labels…I’ll glue them on myself.

Update: Labels are going on bottles today. I will send an update when I have the wines in hand to start shipping. Thanks for the patience everyone.

Any chance these wines are going to be held? At this point it is simply to hot to ship where I am.

I emailed Vinoshipper this morning to see if they can be held. If not I told them to cancel my order. Not sure what is going on with some of the BD vendors, but I still have not received my wine from another winery that was supposed to be shipped in March. Actually very disappointed in how these orders have been handled.

Update… the black hole continues

I hope you will cut them some slack. BerserkerDay is the largest sales day for many sellers, by far. Many of them are 1 person, shoestring operations. Some of them have day jobs.

The deals are great; the tradeoff is there will be hiccups in communication and shipping.

The way I choose to view it is that my wines are aging at an offsite location. If I get them next week, that’s fine. If I get them in October, that’s fine, too.

I have no issue with long lead times and understand that they have limited capacity, but when you promise a date/time frame and you miss it by a large margin that’s when it becomes disappointing. I have still not heard back from the other winery on an update of where my wine is and that was sent three days ago as well as a message on here.

It must be challenging being you.

Ah yes, as a consumer who purchased something with a promise behind it that was unmet I am not allowed to be frustrated?

Quick update: the wines are back in warehouse and I’m planning on beginning shipments next week. I’ll send out an email to all Berserker Day orders to give everyone a chance to update their shipping needs.

Sorry but I have to ask, can these be held until fall?

+1
At this point, South Florida shipping is impractical. Mine would need to be held until Dec or Jan.

yes, of course. I can hold until cooler temps

Scott, I put a hold on your shipping and we can revisit with cooler temps

I hate to wait another 8 months.
