You won’t be sorry.

Popped a slightly chilled (I put it out in the unheated breezeway for a bit) 2018 La Malinche tonight. Yum. :wine_glass:

I served my brother an '18 La Malinche on his last visit that turned him into a first-time buyer this Berserker Day.

Just a little shipping update. Shipments to West Coast, TX and FL have now halfway gone out. Holding off on anything East Coast and North for now. Debating on getting GA and NC on the schedule next.

In any case, original prediction of them getting to you in early to mid-March probably holds, unless cold snap decides to stay!

Thanks for patience.

Not to brag, but I got my order yesterday and cracked a Bund. Very nice, crisp acidity and went great with some clam pasta.
On deck for the weekend is the Pinot. Excited to taste your take on Pinot!

Just finished the Pinot. Judging by the sediment on the bottom of the bottles, I think I got a free cold stabilization by FedEx/mother nature. It was enjoyable, had a lot of that Pinot funky-ness and umami to me. Solid at the BD price, but not my favorite SF wine when there’s such interesting mission reds and refreshing roses and whites.

Thanks. Yes, it’s prob my most AFWE wine ever. And very low in sulphur too, which is why I wanted it out the door and drunk!

Thank you Jules!

Just opened a 2020 Lagier-Meredith Mt Veeder Syrah to celebrate that I’ve now finally completed all BD shipments! Taken a long time, but dropped the last 20 packages off to FedEx this afternoon. :+1:

How was it @Adam_Frisch, and how much air did you give it before drinking? I love LM wines, but they can be closed up at only 4-5 years old. I’m sitting on a bunch of their 2020 Syrah, want to try one soon and need to know how to prepare it!

Yeah, like most of their wines, it needs either time or a lot of air. They can be a bit angular when popped and poured, but with time in glass they get better and better. If you have the time to open one the day before, they really reward you. When they hit that spot, it’s hard to find much better.
