Thanks Astrid!

Couldn’t resist the cabs. I know we both love Enfield’s Waterhorse Ridge cab, so I figure it’s a safe bet I’ll dig the style you’re making these in. Plus your grandfather sounds like a badass.

Thanks Greg! A lot of pressure w. Enfield, but I don’t think they’ll disappoint. The Vogelzang is killer! Appreciate you coming out early. If I can get labels sorted in time, might ship them a bit earlier, but you must promise to hold on to them for a few more months! :+1:

No pressure! Just noting a stylistic touchstone. BTW it was great hearing you on The Wine Makers pod a couple of weeks back!

No worries on early drinking. For decades I’ve suffered from the pathology of looking at a given bottle and saying to myself ‘hmm, probably not ready yet’. I’ll definitely give them a few years sideways.

Glad I got mine!! :wine_glass:

I ordered the cabs yesterday simply because I want to encourage @Adam_Frisch to finally get rid of that damn wax!

Thanks all!

I’m now on my 2nd gin + tonic, cooking some sort of bastardized chicken soup that my son will avoid like the plague (soup hater!). The WHITE MIXER 6-pack is now down to 18 packages left - will it sell out before I go to bed? Perhaps. In any case, it’s been an amazing BD - so many great customers and friends have come out to banter - simply the best community ever!

BD will end once I go to bed, but I still have soup to make, eat, fight with my son to sample, open a wine to, so not quite yet, kamrater (that’s Swedish for comrades)!

Just emailed you… so hoping there’s only 17 packages left now!

Hoping for a 6 of The Mission and a White Mixer 6 if all can be worked out.

Looking forward to it!

I was just cursing the wax myself. Opened a 2021 Obie Riesling while making dinner and piece it fell into the soup I was making.

You guys are amateurs - don’t you know you need to walk around with a net below you at all times?

I dunno, I use a screwpull usually, put the worm right through the wax and the cork pops out. :woman_shrugging:t2:

Would love a Lanterna pack next year!

I thought that is what my beard is for! :upside_down_face:

They typically do pull out fairly cleanly, but I’ve had a few bottles where some fragments crack off. It was my fault for opening the bottle while at the stove.

I’ve had those cracked bits also fall into the bottle. Its no big deal, just annoying. Long live the Cab bottling sans wax!

So far that hasn’t happened to me (and I drink a lot of Adam’s wines). Also, I wouldn’t open any bottle over a stove. Sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

@Adam_Frisch I sent in an order via email last night for a mixed white plus a milk fed toaky as I don’t have PayPal. Did you get this?
