How is the free summer hold working (or not working)? Did you get an option to ship or hold?

These are Wine VIP purchases for people who did not select and pay for summer hold.

Not true. I have on my original order a promise that it wouldn’t ship until after October 17th. I just got a notice that my order has shipped in 100+ degree southern Arizona temperatures.

Did you pay the $5 for summer hold @JBucholz through Wine VIP? Summer hold was definitely offered as an option when lot 12 was sold.
If you are referring to lot 1, sold in early May, did you respond to their follow up email stating that you wanted summer hold?

It is Lot 12. The order acknowledgement email clearly states, “Your order will ship after: 17 October, 2025.”
I also just noticed that the email notice that I received tonight indicating that the order has shipped has the note in it, " Ship after: 17 October, 2025."
Did you pay $5 for the summer hold? If not they’ll ship them out ASAP. I don’t think WineVIP will give you a complimentary summer hold.

You may want to contact WineVIP CS. When I tracked the shipment just now, it stated that the package hadn’t been received by UPS yet. They’re probably not willing to look for your package among all the ones in their shipping area but it’s worth asking.

Just looked at my Lot 12 order confirmation and mine says “ships after Sept. 24,” but I also paid the $5 for summer hold. Summer hold was definitely an option when buying lot 12, so if you did not pay for that, then caveat emptor.

I’m hopeful we’ll see #4 and #6 ship soon. Looking forward to enjoying some of the whites and roses this summer.

I wouldn’t consider Lot 4 a summer wine. 15 months on 50% new French Oak

Could they just be creating labels and then staging shipments for fall? I’ve had this with other wineries I belong to. Label is created a couple months ahead but it shipped as promised.

Awesome! Went ahead and grabbed some more in the 6-packs. I just don’t have enough space for full cases unless I was an alcoholic determined enough to drink almost every day.
Overbought on wine, but with the six packs, free shipping and storage, got 6 of the 12s and 6 of the 22s. For $178!
