CT only has 2 cases logged (and 1 of those is mine). Wow. Shockingly low volume, indeed.
It’s me! I’m the other case
Ask, and ye shall receive. 6 packs now available.
That’s mine & I submitted a change to the name to be X.01 to CT yesterday.
Looks like that has not been accepted/implemented =
2023 Cam X Cabernet Sauvignon Lot 01
Looks like the change was made, or am I mistaken
I went with what the front label says which is Lot 0N and the COLA for it is Cam X with nothing else. It seems like the corporate name might be The Negociant and Cam X is a brand with potentially other different brands. We will adjust if need be.
The edits and other suggestions don’t match the label so will likely cause confusion.

My cellar grew hugely!
My family grew by 3 brand new very young members! 1,2&3 years young.

I know this is a cam thread, but all of you guys should be buying Black Powder on BD too
Max,
Is that Coffee ?
A good morning beverage.
Time for a discount.
To play devil’s advocate here - starting around offering #150, Cam switched from the n.xxx annotation to “lot xxx” annotation on dN, but the CT naming kept the n.xxx structure. No one got too worried about it not matching the label.
I don’t think there’s too many folks who would be buying CAM X and tracking in CT who would have a hard time grokking the “X.02”, “X.03”, etc structure. And it has the benefit of being specific to this lot structure, while searching for “CAM X” or “lot 02” brings up a lot of extraneous hits.
Those entries are that because it is just too much effort to clean all of them up. I do end up dealing with duplicate entries constantly where users properly create one that matches the front label. So it isn’t a zero problem.
The majority of searches come from label searching so not matching the label is a big issue. In this case, slightly less since most of the initial entries are pre-orders w/ no labels but subsequent searches to find bottles in the cellar do matter.
We are the process of significantly changing and upgrading search to be wine-smarter. This will help the issue significantly. In the interim, it is easy to make X.01 etc work on those wines.
Ooh thats exciting! With the new search, if i get one letter wrong will it still have a chance of guessing the wine correctly?
So Max, please do tell, what is Black Powder on BD?
Will get me loaded (black tar heroine)?
Please do tell……?
Vintages can change on the TTB label without any prior approval. It’s an allowable change without any prior notice. Good catch though…
