Yield information on the tech sheet supports Lot 2 claims of 400 case production:
Yields are low, and we are typically only able to produce a couple of barrels
Very good guess!

Yeah - it’s AI. - my assumption is it looked for similarly worded reviews and matched up with a 2021. I thought the same as you on that

Quite amazing what tech can do nowadays!
I’m with you on this.
Can someone clarify what this means:
“Pretty sure we purchased the entire 2022 vintage; however, we only produced a couple hundred cases so I highly recommend you giddyup to one of our retail partners and grab yours today!”
The winery isn’t releasing it so they bought all of it? We produced? Retail partners?
@MatMc , it’s odd, but I take that to mean that the winery decided not to bottle all of this wine, so Cam bought it and bottled that into 400 cases (“produced”).
Retail partners meaning WineVIP!
It sounds to me like they either overproduced or more likely the product in barrel wasnt up to snuff. The latter tracks with buying the entire vintage but only bottling a few hundred.
Interesting - not only didn’t Cam provide an ABV on this one, I don’t think I see an ABV reported for the B Cellars Giannone for any vintage anywhere online…anyone else able to find one?

cabernet sauvignon
2019 Oakville ~ Napa Valley This gem of a vineyard sits on an alluvial flow in the northeast corner of Oakville. Established vines reach deep into the well-drained bench and produce deep, savory, palate-filling wines redolent in black fruits, olive, espresso, and cacao, with

Ah! I should have remembered COLA - thank you, Lloyd. Sounds like it’s made in a big boy Napa style, which is what I’m excited about more of with Cam’s return (vs the anemic 13.5% Napa cabs from dN new management)
The Eco Terreno ID on CAM X 1 pushed me over the edge. Was also considering dN 551 & 552 but too much wine already! No sympathy here…but I love a bargain. I’m often found in the aisles at Gross Out
The 2016 & 2018 Eco Terreno OV Lyon AV Cabs were on Last Bottle in the last couple years, at $20.
For Cam x1, do you think he picked up preblended shiners or does he purchase wine and create a unique blend of made wines?
Important Question: for avid CellarTracker users, how do we want these entered in CT?
(For dN, I was “first entry” on probably 25% of the first 150 Lots, and for those I was not, I was usually the one pinging CT tech support to change “incorrect” entries so that everything could be search for using “N.#” which has been super helpful.)
There are already two entries in CT (I did the second one). Both use the “Cam X Lot #” system, which is fine.
An alternative would be to make them “Cam X.#”
We can update and “enforce” now, but once there start to be a lot of them, the train will have left the station.
Thoughts?
For searchability, I like X.100 (as a lot 100 example) — it would be a unique search rubric vs lots of other “lot 100” out there.
Agree that there should be consistency. I would vote for CAM X.# - skipping the “Lot” portion.

I am pro N.XX and X.XX. The recent spate of naming convention shenanigans makes my engineering brain cranky
I just checked on Lot 2 quantities and it says there are still 352 cases available. I’m not sure how much they started with but Cam said there were only 400 cases available. Is it possible they’ve sold fewer than 50?
Cam, if you’re reading this please consider offering as half cases. I’d definitely pick this up if offered in smaller quantities.
I’m in for 1/2 cases.
It’s up to the retailer, not Cam. Once he sells it, out of his control
