Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping

Sorry, I think it is over. I tried to go see if the link from Thursday would still work but it just takes me to their home page. I thought perhaps it was still going on. You may be able to message them and see if they have any remaining stock. I know last year I needed some bottles to fill out a case and they let me buy a few days later.

Claiborne and Churchill is offering their 2023 Dry Gewürztraminer for $169.99/case (or $109.99/6 bottles) with 1¢ ground shipping through Sunday 10/27. I haven’t had this bottling in a vintage or two, but I’ve liked it enough in the past that I just picked up a case.

I clicked on the RWC link when there was still plenty of stock but none of them were the familiar, long-time Rosenthal producers I’d have jumped at.

Is there a code for the .01 shipping? Web site is showing $70 shipping + $10 tax to VA for me. Thanks.

The NOAH wines are good. I scored a couple of the 2015Pinon cuvée Botrytis for $25 and a couple of Bisson Pigato for $17. love the Liguria white wines. Crazy deals.

Nice score. I considered the Pinon as well. I haven’t had the NOAH wines but they should be right up my alley. Actually had the Bramaterra Salero in a cart earlier this week for significantly more but didn’t pull the trigger.

I am really not familiar with Ligurian whites, but could see it being something I’d enjoy. Any particular producers I should keep an eye out for on future sales?

There aren’t a ton available. I’d try the line up from Punta Crena which Kermit Lynch brings in to see what you think. The Pigato is a speckled version of vermentino and there are some other nice native grape varieties from there. Bisson is imported by Rosenthal worth trying.

There’s no code, but maybe the cheap shipping has some limitation that I wasn’t clear in the email I received? It’s for ground shipping only, so that’s probably part of it.

Any one have WDC codes ?

Haven’t seen any on the thread lately

The prices crept up and the codes got worse. I think many of us have moved on. I got a $20 off stewardship offer recently but have zero interest in trying to flail around with the codes and the cashback to get down to W-S low on a random selection of bottles I may or may not want to prioritize.

Still good for buying En Primeur

It’s disappointing. I’ve grown to like Stewardship a lot for the Amazon Prime-like convenience. Just click and you get your wine in a day or two. But if they’re going to continue to have bad prices + no discounts, it’s over.

Mine just auto renewed last week. No way to cancel it online, I need to call. Last purchase was Jan of 2024. Says I saved $313 of shipping, there are some bottles that are decent prices and free shipping helps, but without promo codes not many bottles I want to buy, and not enough to justify stewardship

Mine expires in 2 weeks so trying to see if anything is available

Chargeback

Just cancel the renewal. You still have until your term is up to buy as I understand. No point in paying to renew until you have something you definitely want to buy. Also, you’re more likely to get a $20 off renewal. I got one from 10/7 through 10/31, around 3-4 months post-cancelation… (not sure if it’s based on my cancel date or if every former Stewardship member gets these).
