This is now likely incorrect, but keeping here for sake of history —>Don’t forget the Google Pay 5%. I’ve used that one three times mixed with other offers so far, and it let me add again (you have to add the offer each time). HT @Arv_R
**Edit/Update - I’ve had issues with Google Pay. The transaction runs through correctly and lists as pending, but earlier uses of the offer disappeared. I’ve had a very drawn out and slow support response from Google Pay, and they finally claimed I didn’t satisfy the terms of the offer, but won’t say which part of the terms. I’ll update again if they provide clarification, but the terms only reference “if you link to the same offer on more than one site, your qualifying transaction will only be eligible for rewards or benefits associated with the offer through the most recently linked site.” Per my reading, a 5% offer from Google Pay is not the same offer at all to another offer from another site at a completely different rate and with different terms.
@Jason_L at Stereophonic Wine is doing a Labor Day sale with 40% off some wines with code LABORDAY.
He said in an email that it’s partly because he’s facing an unexpected hospital stay with surgery looming (along with a long recovery).
I really like his Sangiovese Heart Container. It’s a bit Californian (fruit forward) but really, really delicious. If I didn’t have 5 more bottles I’d buy more.
My capital one card has $40 cash back on “new
subscriptions” at wine.com. I took a gamble and renewed my stewardship yesterday at the $49 and cap one shows my csh back offer has triggered, but I will not know for sure unil the statemrnt credit comes through.
Same when I tried. I actually think it worked the correct way when I first added it, then when I went back to the cart it was saying the total was not high enough for the offer.
Great sale at WHWC, and at firstbottlewines 10% of 6 or more and 15% off 15 or more, plus free shipping. First time fbw customers can get an extra $10 off with Sign Up - First Bottle
Thanks guys. I appreciate the support. I got a rare blood infection that caused me to drop 40+ pounds in two months and I will probably have to have my spleen and part of my pancreas removed. It is definitely a harvest-time curveball for the ages.
Exactly. To active members that only post their referrals occasionally, I’m giving it to them every time. But when it’s spam from people who aren’t active, it should just be considered spam.
I also question the morality of opening multiple wineaccess accounts with different email addresses in order to take advantage of referral and new account bonuses.
For those who have a Total Wine account, check your account or app. They put a ‘get a wine for 1 penny’ coupon in mine. Obviously, lots of restrictions i.e. Winery Direct, sub $15 price, only valid in certain states, only valid on 750ml or 1.5 L and so on. But the app makes it easy to filter on the requirements, and in some categories TW / Saranty selections are functional. Loire Blanc, Languedoc/Southern France, Cava, Portugese Dry Reds would be areas to consider since those are likely real producers (middling coops or sleepy family farms, NOT regional stars carried by KLWM, Handpicked, Eric Solomon etc) rather than the contrived proprietary brands developed domestically.
Coupon works, and flabbergasts the cashiers. I picked up a 2021 Jaunay Muscadet.
PS: I would note that my location seems to have finally reverted back to its normally massively stocked inventory situation, all properly put away and laid out too. It was looking pretty crazy there for a while. Sadly, my favorite grocer/LWS is still a disaster, and likely unrecoverable since their wine dept staff / floorspace / leadership have all been scaled back.
We had to go there to pick something else up and I checked my app hoping for a beer coupon and found that as well. A couple of things I’d have preferred were $15.99 or weren’t Winery Direct, but I found a decent-looking CdR red for $14.99 and took it home for a penny. Should be worth the money.
