I coaxed HRH out to the sunporch on a perfect spring day and poured her a glass of the '21 WR Blanc. Then I told her that there are bobbles available.

Would have loved more but got 1.5 cases already pending of GF and no room!
I feel lucky as I was able to test a bunch of wines last week with Marcus at the winery. WOW is all I can say. I told myself I was not going to buy any more wine until I get my house situation settled, but yeh, that lasted about a week. Goodfellow produces too much good wine to pass up.

The offer was just too good… a case of sparklers, a case of rose, a mixed case of whites.
I dont know how anyone could turn down a chance at these sparklers. I’ve got some coming from Bday but I couldn’t resist grabbing a few more.

We opened the Whistling Ridge Blanc de Blancs yesterday to get a feel for how severe bottle shock is.
It showed the personality of the wine still but seemed very two dimensional instead of it’s usual volume and richness. I would definitely try to hold off until at least mid-May.
