2024 GOODFELLOW SPRING RELEASE! Sparklers!

Looking forward to trying the Riesling! Just in time for the warmer weather.

Just emailed an order for sparklers… my wine fridge is going to float away with the % of bubbles I have vs. still wines.

@Marcus_Goodfellow Can you tell
Us a little about the “Vin Soif” Chard? I don’t remember seeing this offered before. Is this the first offering? Can you say which vineyards it comes from? Why a blend this year? Low yield from the frost?

Congrats! You should number and sign that bottle for a future BerserkerDay auction. :+1:

This!

And I’ll rig it so I can win and finally try it!

Hi Charles,

The vineyards are Durant and Temperance Hill, the fruit is 2023 and we haven’t produced a WV Chardonnay since 2019 due to yields.

Vin Soif loosely means “wine for drinking” and this is a combination of stainless drum, tank, and puncheon. It’s less lees inflected due to bottling after 6 months, and is very much a summer food wine. It should age reasonably well as we generally make everything to have some durability, but I think the best drinking window is probably mid-summer this year to 2026.

This year’s auction lot was pretty solid as well.

First look at the NV Temperance Hill Blanc de Blancs and the 2022 Whistling Ridge Blanc de Noirs.

Blue painter’s tape for future labels moving forward? I kind of love that aesthetic.

Trying to avoid buying wine at the moment. Figured it wouldn’t hurt to just take a peak at the email.

In for two mixed cases…

We’re all unofficially part of that support group . . . . :wine_glass:

Thought that was your order.

Me too

I hope Mike Pobega ordered some. I’m not sure I’ll be able to wait the three months to let them settle, and I am hoping for some early notes. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

:joy:- will be placing an order tomorrow- GF just always delivers! In fact my wife only needs one winery to make her happy! Thanks Marcus & Megan.

Interesting as our palates continue to evolve (at 60) boy does more sparkling get consumed in our house so excited for this program!

In for 4 of the Pinot Blanc and 2 Riesling.

I bought some of the PB last year and gave a bottle to a buddy from FL when he was in town for a wedding.
Several months later, I opened my first and was remarking how good it was. As I finished my first (of many) glass, I get a text from my buddy saying he just opened the PB and how good it was.

Karma Baby!
