Fun time today at Domaine. Looking forward to storing my Chuck here. Thanks go out to Mo, Berg, two Davids I believe, Scott, and Joe for a good time. If I botched the names, my bad. But I’ll have to make that a regular Saturday noon thing for sure.

Thinking about opening a Rivers-Marie…Joe’s mentioned them every week recently, so I think it’s time to check in on a bottle or two. You able to make it this week Joe?

I’ll be there Saturday hopefully moving in some bottles. I have a bunch of Rivers-Marie. You talking Cab or Pinot? I’ll have to see what bottles I bring and if anything sounds appealing.
All the RM I have are youngsters; '09 and '10 Cabs, '10 and '11 Pinots…I haven’t tried the '10 Cabs or '11 Pinots yet, so thinking about babykilling one of those…I’ll decant one Saturday morning.
And I’ll bring any leftovers from Friday night again, but not sure what those will be

I think I have some '07 Pinot, and definitely have '08 and '09 as well as the years you have. We’ll see what I can find.
Ditto, but glad to see that there is a group trying to make this a regular thing. People hang out at Domaine Chicago every week, and for the first few months of DC being open, it seemed like that wasn’t going to happen here.
I think once I get everything moved in and all I need to do is hop on the metro and go a few stops to get there, I don’t see why I couldn’t make Saturdays a regular thing. It’s a good way to start a Saturday, that’s for sure. Too bad they aren’t open on Sundays come football season.
They could be. I’ve been to Sunday tastings there. All it takes is asking!
We’ll have to convince Mo to get RedZone for us Fantasy Football tools.
Not a bad idea; I’m actually commish this year of the Fantasy Football league over on the CT Forums, so hanging out at Domaine with redzone on Sundays could work out very well, though my wife might not be happy…
And I agree, I think there’s definitely the beginnings of a regular tasting group…lets keep the Saturdays going, and I’m sure more folks will come out if it starts getting bigger.
Mo also keeps talking about doing a big BYOB…that needs to happen this summer
Although I’m there more during shipping season, I’m at Domaine periodically on Saturdays and would be glad to join in. Out of town this weekend but I’ll probably be there next week.
