It’s becoming a bit of a tradition to Pobega a bottle from Hardy when the case arrives at Chez Vince.

A Satyr of the familiar and unfamiliar, even for palates attuned to Hardy’s wines. Mindbending. Forces you to pay close attention. A big jagged (probably impact of travel) and will benefit from a few months or years sideways.

Thank you, Vince! This is a favorite of mine (of all time).

I am so happy I got a mag of this.

I don’t ever buy mags, but i did put 2 bottles of this into storage to give them a fighting chance to get some age.

Listened to the pod and immediately opened a 21 Merlot. My first Yeah! Mariana’s that I’ve opened - I must say I’m stoked to have a bunch more stashed away.

And I’m in in for a six pack of the 2023s you just put out!

I already had a case delivered, and just put in another order for a 6-pack.

The 23 cab franc is world class. I’m excited to put it up in a line-up with Rougeard, Cheval Blanc and Kobayashi Mizunara in the not-to-distant future.

I’m also hoping to do a lineup of the cab sauv with Beta, Jasud and McDonald – I haven’t tasted it yet, but the '22 shares more kinship with the Beta wines than any other CA cab.

Count me in :joy:. Trying to decide how much of that SCM Hardy wine I need stashed for the future. 2 zalto’s worth

Figured I’d come out of berserker-lurker mode just to say how stoked I am for these wines. Extradimensional + SCM = one of my favorite combos.

Hardy, I haven’t broken any Zaltos in the shop yet, but now I’ve got an insurance policy in the event that I do

I imagine these are pretty allocated due to the tiny quantities? I have no experience with Yeah! Wines YET but they’re on my radar for the hopefully near future. I dig everyones reviews and need to get my hands on some

These SCM wines are small production, but I still see some from previous vintages available. And other wines from previous releases are readily available.

If you want to dip your toe in, I’d suggest a Sonoma Valley UFO, a '24 Summer Salters IV, and a Figure Ground to test the waters. If these wines don’t speak to you, then EDWC is probably not for you, but if they do…

Where did you see the SCM stuff available? I was browsing the website and saw other bottles from prior fall/spring release but none of that. I did try to add myself to the email list a week or so ago but I don’t know if I got any emails

Only when I log in to see my allocation for this release. You may want to just email yeah@winecoyeah.com to see if your account got created

Definitely biased here, but Hardy’s evanghelo mourvedre is the best mourvedre out there, but also totally different.

At least for domestic Mourvèdre I completely agree with you. Tempier still makes some great wines from that grape.
