I think they took advance orders on these. Two friends bought them through a restaurant friend.

At first this wine was pretty cheap - I saw multiple emails and deals like said friends took. I can’t remember the price but the 1L they also ordered were $45.

If I had a 3L of this I would totally do a charity auction.

However, not to rain on the snarking parade here, but a solid second option is serving at your next (meaning within 2-3 years on the outside) large party. The masses, and even most of my serious wine drinker friends, love this stuff.

Either way, two birds one stone- either help a good cause or treat some guests, while also clearing cellar space.
