Are those the K&L bottles? Iām always looking for that wine because Iāve belatedly fallen in love with LāEglise Clinet the last few years and 2012 is a birth year for my oldest.

Yes, indeed, they also have the 2008, which I strongly recommend. I also love the 2014. Such a fantastic ChĆ¢teau. Often lost in the shuffle during discussions along the likes of Trotanoy, VCC, Conseillante and LāEvangile. Itās in the class for sure.
I think it might be my favorite. I still love Trotanoy but it is so dense and tightly coiled. Also, LāEglise Clinet is supposed to have the oldest Cabernet Franc vines in Bordeaux, which may be a reason it slides into my wheelhouse so easily. Itās also just sexy. There was a bunch of OWC going through HDH in the last 6 months so I grabbed cases of 2006, 2016 (750 & mag, the other daughterās birth year), 2017, 2019, 2020. I didnāt bid high enough on the 2011 so didnāt grab that. I may need to calm down because I tend to fixate. My Bordeaux collection is 58% Magdelaine and 27% LāEglise Clinet after this last splurge.
