What is YOUR most recent wine purchase? (Part 2)

Yeah, definitely the right thing to do is call them and correct the error and not take advantage of a massive error

Point taken, will correct at next opportunity if it presents again. I don’t want to go to that special place. It is a large regional chain.

They may have granted the price in one out of appreciation since they lost $2k per bottle in what they had, plus it’s the right thing to do, which would have made it taste even better

Olek Bondonio, Barbaresco, 2013 in Magnum.

I am not really buying wine now, but this one I had to get while the opportunity was there.

Which one of the cuvees?

Cavarodes Trousseau Lumachelles 2023 x 2
Ganevat Vieux Macvin x 1
Marguet La Grande Ruelle 2019 x 1

My shopping/wish list looks somewhat similar, where did you order?

Saratoga Wines. Internet Wines doesn’t ship to my state, and Saratoga’s prices were near W-S low for almost all the wines I was looking at, especially once you factor in the free shipping that most of these wines were eligible for.

Not buying until the 31st!! That’s my plan at least.

Do you have a good source in country?

I buy from a wide range of EU countries. These were sourced in Belgium.
20€ each for the Cavarodes, 40€ for the Ganevat and 60€ for the Marguet.

How do you get them to Jeju?

Yeah that’s the only problem. I don’t

They’re in my cellar in Denmark to be enjoyed and shared when I’m visiting home. And then the suitcases get filled with special bottles to be shared in SK.

Brian - I also just laid in a bunch of 2019/2020 Bordeaux, some the same as @Charles_Perry mostly from Saratoga and a little from B21 during the only time of the year it’s safe to ship from FL. Saratoga in particular is such a pleasure to work with, from pricing to email updates to free shipping on a lot of wines.
