I’ve never tried any of these wines, but keep seeing great reviews. Time to see what all the hype is about.

Lucked into some somewhat reasonably priced 2022 Dauvissat, 4 bottles of the Chablis and 2 Vallions. Excited to see what all the fuss is about starting in a few years.

If you don’t mind me asking, what price did the 2004 Gran Reservas come out at? I’m having a hard time finding any pricing online in the US and what I have been able to find is way above where the 2001s were on release.

What merchant do you use for your BdM?

I only saw the Tondonia GR (red) this time around. It was $220, but I had a few one-off $50 coupons + cash back to lower the price quite a bit.

I saw two tranches of all three 2001 gran reservas on wdc. First tranche was $160, so one could snag them at good old days pricing w/ the usual shenanigans. The second tranche was maybe 6 months later, priced at double (or triple for the blanco) the first.

Thanks, that’s about what I was seeing. I was expecting this release to push $200, but it’s still a shock after I was able to get the 2001s at around $150 each when they were released. Sigh.
