Memories of childhood. Mom bought canned LeSeur Petite Peas. Fixed them in numerous ways. My favorite was with Cream of Mushroom soup. Dump the two cans together, the water from the canned peas was the dilution for the Cream of Mushroom soup. She also did a pea casserole. Same first step as above add in some scallion and grated cheese and Ritz Crackers on top and throw in the oven.
We don’t ever get fresh peas here. So I use one specific brand of frozen. Publix Greenwise Petite’s best I have ever had frozen. I make a special trip to Publix just to buy them.
