The lenses are perfectly clean. The brightness of the wines he is drinking is simply blinding.
Patricia Green Cellars 2021 Chehalem Mountain Vineyards Pinot Noir (label stained a bit from the bottle that broke when shipped by retailer). So intense. I love this stuff. 
Lovely early maturity floral spicy goodness, still plenty of tannins. Delicious now but really needs another 5 years in the cellar.
Ok, that’s enough. The next photo needs to be taken with a much crappier view. 
2017 Francesca Fiasco Mèrcori Paestum Rosso
Mix of Cab Sauv, Aglianico and god knows what else. Very young still but with a lot of air started showing a wild array of scent and flavor profiles. Full bodied but not in the least ponderous— like a cross between a left bank claret and a southern Italian wine , which I guess it sort of is. Needs a lot more time in the cellar, but we loved it already as is.
From CT review:
6 hr decant. The smell upon first opening this was wild: black berries, very pronounced tar, dried herbs. With a lot of air the scents evolved into a sort of cherry, tons of smoke, venison, pepper. It’s almost criminally young, but this already shows its greatness. That said, give it a good long while in the cellar for peak performance.
The nose on this is like a cross between a left bank Bordeaux and southern Italian — which makes sense since it is a blend involving Cab and Aglianico. At first it smells very Bdx and then it just shifts on you out of nowhere. What a fabulous and tricky bouquet.
