I do understand/agree the point, but how many years ago when that beer in a 22oz might have been around that price for one!
My main problem these days is that I just don’t necessarily want to buy four of these really “interesting” beers. Fun to try once but I mostly don’t need 4 experiences in a short time with them…

Amen! —- especially w/r/t the observation that 22s are basically dead.

I had a draft pint of this the other day at BJ’s Pizza. First experience with the brewery; not my last. Delicious.

Traditional British brewery in Bristol, England with an American brewer - this is a gorgeous Dark Ale that tips the scale at 7.3% alcohol. In the style of a dry Stout - yummy.

Heading out tonight to watch game at a place that has much hyped Interstellar in 16 oz cans. From Toluca, near CDMX.

So the beer zombies attacked the Interstellar delivery and all that was left were two stouts. I tried the sweet one with ice cream after pizza & wings.
Yes there’s chocolate and coconut but I really liked it. Next trip thru Mexico will include a stop in Toluca.

Fairly light body with lemon and floral notes. Overall pretty good, but not the greatest pilsner I have had. Disclosure, I did receive the beer for free from a Sierra Nevada rep.

Delicious and refreshing.
WAY
too late on this as I haven’t been active here recently.
Anyhow, I agree with your take on Dogfish. Go back 15 years, and they were my favorite brewery, with apologies to the late, great Pretty Things. While I’d love for them to bring back their historically inspired beers like Ta Henket (I was a history major, and like gruits) and Burton Baton, their regular offerings don’t do much for me these days. The Seaquench and Citrus Squall are solid beers, but there are many better sours now in 2025.
There was a time when the 90 minute IPA was a go-to in that category, maybe circa 2010. Sadly, it has no chance when Tree House is a 20-25 minute drive away.
Ultimately, I’d like to see DFH bring back their historical, ‘off-centered’ beers, as it would be a fitting legacy for an OG craft brewery. Nobody else has done anything notable as far as trying to replicate ancient malt beverages.; at last we have a few wine producers committed to making Falernium other ancient wines great again. Of course, I understand that there isn’t a market for these beers
