What BEER are you drinking? (Part 2)

Ran across a fresh Hoof Hearted stash yesterday

Rounded up some Ukrainian beers (Couldn’t find the Putin label) but drinking with the lawn mowing today.

Drinking Triple Crossing Litehaus

Nice 3.6% Light lager

Terrible about posting pics. Probably should put this on my phone

A handful of local (Colorado) IPAs I’ve enjoyed this summer, at altitude. Cheers!! :sunglasses: :beers:

When doing a local delivery, I discovered a cache of our Abzug, a low alcohol amber lager that we made in the spring. I gave them a credit for the half case, and the beer will come home with me. Outside of Pils, this is my other favorite beer.

Just ordered 6 packs of Southern Tier Pumking from Total Wine. So excited to finally snag some of this unicorn. It must have just landed this week because they had 13 cases. I’ll be drinking this through November.

For a high school reunion a decade or more ago I took responsibility for selecting and ordering the kegs (if I had to travel from Wyoming to Maryland and drink beer with people I hadn’t seen for three or more decades, I wanted to make certain it wasn’t a selection of only bud and coors light) one of the bullet kegs was an IPA or double IPA from Southern Tier. It was some really good ale.

I had two pints of local Imperial IPA watching second half of game yesterday and I’m mild to moderately hungover.

Where is the love?

Production on this is up threefold from what it was even 3-4 years ago. Pallet stacks in most chain stores; still a very solid pumpkin beer, and better priced than it was in its initial releases, but not a unicorn any more.

These days they seem to be “the pumpkin beer co” … I miss Gemini :frowning:

Starting to think they’re doing what Paulaner does with Oktoberfest, brewing it most of the year then releasing it all at once all over.

This place is legendary. Hope you enjoyed the visit!

Yes great visit. Friday night crowd was happy but not crazy. Fun vibe and the opportunity to have gem beers on draft was a treat. Our consumption is guarded these days, but I enjoyed my first Maine Beer Company ‘Dinner’ a lot. Unlike any other Double IPA for me, and outstanding. Kind of the ‘love child, of an American IPA and a Belgian Tripel to my taste. Beaucoup finesse also. I was lucky to have the chance.
