I need to clarify my post and edits a bit. Too busy watching the Giants game and not paying attention to the question.

I listed 2009 Ridge Monte Bello futures, but I only bought 4 this year.
I listed 2008 Rafanelli Zin, but the price is actually under $40. The Cab was over $40.
The 2003 Suduiraut was $35.
I bought a case of 2001 and 2005 Beringer Private Reserve Cab splits for $20 per. Could be considered $40 per 750.

Looking at my receipts, I bought 6 or more of the 2007 Spottswoode Cab, 2007 Forman Cab, 2007 Rafanelli Cab and 2007 Dunn HM Cab. I am sensing a trend.

Thanks,
Ed.

Very few as it turns out.

2008 Rhys Pinot Noir Alpine Vineyard
2007 Windy Oaks Estate Pinot Noir Proprietor’s Reserve Schultze Family Vineyard
2006 Domaine Jamet Côte-Rôtie

Probably would have been a longer list if Copain had sold any svd pinot this year.
It’s a good thing you didn’t ask about quantity 4 - quite a longer list.

Fun question.

For me, it was only one: 2007 Fattoria Galardi Terra di Lavoro Roccamonfina IGT

I’ll buy daily drinkers in larger volume, but I usually buy higher-end wines in lots of 3. Why? Budget and cellar space. I also think there are so many wines that I haven’t tried - I’d rather have more variety.

David

None.
The only six bottle purchase I can recall is a RRV Pinot that was discounted to mid-$20s.

2007 Two Hands Charlie’s Patch
2007 Lewelling
2007 Robert Craig Affinity
2006 Leoville Barton
2007 Pahlmeyer merlot
2007 Larkmead
2007 Chappellet signature

I refuse to answer this in a public forum

2007 Vieux Donjon
2007 Pegau
2007 Chante Cigale VV
2007 Vielle Julienne
2006 Pegau
2005 Charvin
2007 Anderson’s Conn Valley Right Bank Cuvee

None over $60.

2008 Rhys Alpine PN
1989 Huet Le Haut-Lieu Vouvray Moelleux 1er Trie
2009 Climens (in 375)

I rarely buy 6 of anything - the few others that I bought 6 of fall short of the threshhold price (08 Huet Le Mont demi-sec, 09 Schafer-Frohlich Felseneck spatlese, 08 Selbach Saar spatlese). If we reach into the 4th qtr of 09, add Truchot MSD Les Sorbes 2006 and 2007 Louis Michel Chablis Montee de Tonnerre.
