What $40+ Wine Have You Bought 6 Btls Or More Of This Year?

Today I anted up for 3 more blts of the '04 Il Poggione Brunello Di Montlacino to make 7 btls bought and one drank so far. I usually only buy 3-4 btls top of everything I own with 3 being my goal whenever possible. I opened up one of my '04 Il Poggione BDMs in September and fell in love with it! The Il Poggione is really elegant, fresh & most of all complex. Just amazing stuff. Kind of a Burgundian BDM. Then I spent the next month agonizing over the fact that I bought my first 4btls for $39.95 (a complete steal) and squaring that with the new market $50+ pricing available from guys I trust. So, today I anted up for 3 more and have no regrets as this stuff drinks like a $100+ wine. This is the only wine over $40 that I bought 6 btls plus of this year.

Not many.
