According to CT my top 3 grapes consumed are…

  1. Chardonnay ( mostly Chablis and Cote Beaune)
  2. Pinot Noir ( mostly Burgundy w/ a sprinkling of Oregon and CA PNs)
  3. “Champagne blend” - a distant 3rd - about one a week.

Sorry, I forgot to list Chenin!

Pinot, cab, bubbly.

GSM blends are one of my three.

Pinot, Champy, Syrah

My attempts to drink grapes have generally resulted in choking situations.

Cab, PN, Syrah

I once walked by a wino who was eating grapes.

I said, “Dude! You have to wait!”

Pinot
Chard
Champy Blend

PN
Chard
Syrah

PN
Cabernet
Sangio and reisling about equal

  1. Riesling
  2. syrah
  3. PN

No surprise on the first two, I actually kind of was by PN as I wouldn’t have considered it in my top three favorite grapes or a huge part of my cellar. Just checked and sure enough it’s the #3 grape there as well. Figures. Always interesting to do these random CT queries.

Poll missed my top grape:

Palomino Fino 6.1% Consumed (109)
Chardonnay 5.4% Consumed (95)
Pinot Noir 4.7% Consumed (84)

Which is why I had to select the last option for one of my three.

Rhone blend should have been a choice.

All my top three are red, even though nearly 50% of the wine I drink is white.
That’s because my red collection is made up almost entirely of ten or so varieties, heavily weighted towards PN, Cab (&blends), and Rhone blends.
I drink about every white variety I can get my hands on, with the top ten about evenly weighted.

Edited. Double post

I should have included Rhone Blend. CT has it as a category. Another screw up on my poll. There are a lot of CDP fans that probably would have checked it.

Corvina (Valpolicella / Amarone) and Montepulciano are made and drunk in vastly larger quantities than the other Italians listed.

Pinot, Chardonnay, and Riesling by a mile. Cabernet is a distant 4th place, but Syrah is catching up based on my more recent consumption.

PN, Cab and Chardonnay. Zinfandel is a close 4th.
