I may have missed it but don’t see a Vivino deal discussion thread. Lots of good deals on Vivino, particularly if you subscribe to their premium service!
Beau Vigne Reserve Proprietary Red 2023 $24.99
Palazzo Right Bank Reserve Proprietary Red 2019 $31.99
A futures offering?
I believe it is a currently available new release. Beau Vigne has it on their website for an overpriced $150. It looks to be a nice wine though.
A few decent options currently available:
2013 Force Majeure Ciel du Cheval Vineyard Collaboration Series VII - $30
2021 Armida Chalone Pinot Noir - $17
2018 Kessler Haak Ohana Pinot Noir - $20
I had the Force Majeure thinking it would be great. Sadly, I thought it was good but not great. Lots of positive CT reviews though, so your palate may vary. A really attractive price on an aged Syrah.
Appreciate the note. I do really like aged syrah. Was it not great at any price or not great for $30? What did you dislike about it?
Honestly, I don’t recall exactly. I remember buying it and drinking it within a day or two, with the thought of buying more. I rated it a 90 and didn’t purchase any additional bottles after consumption. My notes were positive though.
Vivino has the 2013 Firefly Coombsville AVA available for $24.99. If it drinks anything like the 2013 Firefly Stephanie, this is an exceptional QPR. I thoroughly enjoyed the Stephanie.
Firefly is a Winespies favorite but not super well known.
Bell Wine Cellars Varozza Vineyard St. Helena Napa Cab available for $39.99.
Has anyone tried any Bell Wine Cellars juice? Reviews on their standard Napa cab are pretty positive.
2020 Va Piano Stoney Hill Syrah - $30
2021 Va Piano Estate Cabernet - $27
2016 Red Car Heaven & Earth Pinot - $30
I tried the Va Piano Stoney Vine. Lots of meat and olive. I thought it was a good wine but not exceptional. That said, well worth the $29.99!
I thought the Va Piano Estate Cab was absolutely delicious and an awesome QPR.
