That makes perfect sense to me. For example, the 2011 Cuvee Bernardo was tight and unpleasant for the first few years. Now it is fantastic. I’m not worried about the '18. I’ll post a note when we try it, but it could be a while. I have no problem tasting a wine young, but maybe not that young! I treat these like barolo, and don’t bother them for a number of years.

Shouldn’t be too hard to cobble together several cases of some of them if you shop broadly. For the 2020 vintage, several retailers I buy from had gotten 5-6 cases of Onkel Peter and Meyer Nepal. Palm was slim pickings everywhere.
