We’re back for Vindependence Days with BerserkerDay level deals, all for fall shipping. Pictured, me and my crew celebrating the last fruit in for the 2024 harvest at our winery in the Eola-Amity Hills in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Come visit us if you’re traveling to the area, we love meeting Berserkers (even you lurkers, for real come visit).

Ok, the offers. We’re old school, to order you need to email us at vincentwines@gmail.com. We don’t have online ordering. Let us know what you want, what your shipping or local delivery address is, and we’ll follow up with an invoice via Square for easy card payment. We also accept Venmo payments, we’re @VincentWines. Note - shipping will be in fall when weather cools. We can do express shipping sooner but will have to charge extra for that, we can discuss if you need that. Also, local delivery is available ASAP. Fans of Vincent Wine Company wines know that we use the term “Tardive” (or late) on special wines held longer on lees in barrel and bottled later than regular cuvées of the same wine. It’s sorta how we say “reserve.” These are not late picked wines, but late bottled for additional development and complexity.

The 2022 Chardonnay WV “Berserker Tardive” comes from two neutral French oak barrels of 108 clone Chardonnay from 1980s own rooted vines at Dion Vineyard in the Laurelwood District of the Willamette Valley. We aged the wine a full 21 months on lees, then bottled unfiltered as we do with everything we make. Harvested at 20.5 brix. The wine shows flinty, lemon curd and mineral scents, with salty, apple and leesy earthy flavors, crisp and precise but so fine, it’s simply a berserk deal. Drink now or hold over 5+ years, though at this price make it your house white. Fans of Chablis, check this out.

The 2022 Pinot Noir Ribbon Ridge “Berserker Tardive” SOLD OUT was also 21 months in barrel on lees, equal parts Pommard and Wadensvil from South Face Vineyard and originally slated to be a single vineyard offering from that site. However we made the decision to not continue with the vineyard after 2023 - just too many sites in our portfolio - and we had the inspiration to make a Berserker exclusive instead. South Face is to the west of and above Domaine Divio, with a view over to our longtime site Armstrong Vineyard. Marine soils, ten year old vines, harvested in early October, average 22 brix, fermented naturally in open top macro bins. Barreled in neutral French oak for 21 months, bottled unfiltered. Medium dark ruby, earthy floral black cherry aromas, like a blend of Fleurie and Beaune with a decidedly old world streak. Chalky black cherry, bitter chocolate and floral flavors, some definite earthy leather notes, suave gentle tannin. This isn’t simple fruity Pinot, it’s just priced that way. Drink all spring and summer at BBQs, lose some in the cellar for 5-10 years, you won’t be disappointed.

Offer 2 - 2022 single vineyard Pinot Noirs and Chardonnay
Two bottles each of our Eola-Amity HIlls single vineyard wines from the classic 2022 vintage. October harvest, lithe and bright wines with tons of finess and ageability. Marine soils at Zenith Vineyard, red volcanic soils at Royer and Temperance Hill. Our finest wines from the 2022 vintage. $269 delivered

Offer 3 - 2023 single vineyard Pinot Noirs and Chardonnay Tardive
Two bottles each of our newest 2023 single vineyard PInot Noir, Cortell-Rose from volcanic soils of the Eola-Amity HIlls, from the great viticulturist Jessica Cortell; Armstrong from the marine soils on Ribbon Ridge; and our latest Chardonnay Tardive, the 18 months lees aged mostly 108 Wente clone of Chardonnay, from own rooted vines at Dion Vineyard in the Laurelwood District AVA. Get both offers 2 and 3 to compare vintages. $239 delivered

Offer 4 - 2023 Pinot Noir Ribbon Ridge
The Jim Cowan case! Jim’s been a big fan of this wine over the years and we think the current 2023 is one of the best year. Ribbon Ridge is virtually all marine soils, giving a bit more shoulders to the Pinot Noir it produces. We harvest here first to capture great but still restrained ripeness, the result is classic Oregon Pinot Noir that may be our best known bottling. Oh my! $369 delivered

Offer 5 - 2023 Pinot Blanc and Gamay alone + together, now with red Pinot Gris
PLATE BREAKING - now including our 2023 red wine of Pinot Gris!
We’re offering full cases of our Pinot Blanc and Gamay - and red Pinot Gris - for just $300, or $25 a bottle DELIVERED. Or mix and match 6+6 or 4+4+4 for the same price (or whatever mix you like to round out a case of 12, just let us know).

To order, email vincentwines@gmail.com with your picks and we’ll follow up in order received. Cheers!!

Darn, was hoping for a rose/Pinot Gris pack! :upside_down_face:

Vincent has been one of favorite BD discoveries and he’s always been a pleasure to buy from.

We didn’t make Rose in 2024 after being a little long in that department. Of course now we’re sold out of every last bottle of what we had! More coming in vintage 2025

And what the heck, let’s throw the red Pinot Gris from 2023 into Offer 5. Same price as the Blanc and Gamay, mix and match. I’ll update the offer.

Offer 3 says 2022 Pinot in text, but sounds like its 2023? How does the 2023 Armstrong compare to, say, the 2017 (LOVED that bottle, sad I drank my last one)

I’m generally resistant to giving anyone a compliment but the 2023 Cortell Rose is :heart_on_fire:

Yes 2023, I screwed up but have edited the post, thanks for catching! Great year in the Willamette Valley btw.

Ordered a number 1 50/50. I would like to do a pickup. Do you do tastings? Thanks

curious the ABV on these?

Pinots range as I remember 12s to mid 13s.

Chards 12 to 13. Gamay too.

Pinot Blanc in ‘23 came in at 11.6%

Pinot Gris around 13%.

We pick at an al dente ripeness. Not too much ripeness but we’re not picking too soon either. No adjustments to the wines.

I keep telling you that you’re waiting too late to pick…

Commenting for visibility sake, as we’ve already discussed over email. In for a 6+6 berserker tardive case. Excited to finally try your wines, Vincent.

We should put together an <12% pack for BD next year Vincent!

Great wines and I hope you are doing well!

That’s a good idea Marcus! Though most are above 12, just not necessarily too far above.

<12.5% pack!!! Both of you are making superb wines.

Hi Vincent, I’ll take two offer #3’s if still available. Will follow up with an email. Best, John

I don’t know about the ‘17 but the ‘23 Armstrong is fantastic!

Tasted through six bottles yesterday with Vincent:
2023 Pinot Gris Tardive Reserve
2022 Chardonnay Royer Vineyard
2023 Gamay WV
2023 Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills
2023 Pinot Noir Cortell Rose
2023 Pinot Noir Armstrong

I didn’t take notes but I will say all six were absolutely terrific. The standouts for me though were the Chard and the Armstrong.

Thanks Vincent!

Great to have you, super fun to hang out and really appreciate your kind words. 2023s are :boom::boom: and the ‘22s are no slouches, perhaps a more Berserker type vintage but the 23s are just so good I’m kinda excited.

Hope the rest of your trip is fun, definitely plan a return visit!!

Most of the Pinot Noirs in 2023 for us are also a bit above 12, but we could do a Pinot Blanc 6 pack and call it the 11% Solution (riff on the old Sherlock Holmes movie) just for fun.

Berserker Tardive quantity update - just 2 more cases of Pinot Noir and 3 cases of Chardonnay. Plenty of the other wines though!
