Awesome! Hoping to pick up the Meyer Nepal and the Förster, if I can manage to snag them when they arrive in Houston. Apparently there’s only a handful of stores in the area that carry these so I’ve got to be quick.

Hello, that retail business is my wine store. Thank you Lars for posting the link above! We have offered Falkenstein every vintage now since the 2019s but not every AP. See the above link that Lars graciously posted. We have just a few mags of AP11 Meyer Nepal left and a limited amount of the most limited cuvee we receive the AP22 Mia Alte Raben. We also have several more selections of trocken and off dry, plus the sekt, rose, and spatburgunder. These landed about three weeks ago. We hold for free to ship seasonally when safe. Prost!

Thanks for the write-up! Egon Müller and Hofgut Falkenstein are the two cult producers on the Saar, but they’re priced a little differently.

Do you know who distributes in AZ now? I heard it’s been changing hands every year but I still have been able to get cases the past years without too much issue.

Thanks for asking, Michael. Our importer was Marathon Wine Imports, formerly known as Good Omens Wine Co. The owner, Elijah Tubbs, decided to close the business and move to New York with his family. He introduced us to Chris Beelendorf of Tappa Wines, who has expressed interest, but we have yet to allocate him any wine. I’ll follow up on that.
