As is the nature of this board and people in general - and even after the ‘tendencies’ are unveiled, many will ‘take exception’ but will most likely fall into certain categories. Will there be ‘outliers’? Of course - but again, there will be ‘tendencies’ that are ‘generally correct’ . . .

Pretty much this for me as well. Assuming the coffee is good, I prefer black but am ok with a bit of milk/cream, but I generally dislike sweeteners in coffee.

Larry do you make a wine for the customer who likes 3 spoonful’s of sugar?

Cappuccino (like 5oz) around 7am and macchiato around 9am. Sometimes an espresso in the afternoon.

Espresso, no sugar, no extras. That said, I like to test the beans and grind them fresh. The BD coffee beans offer is always one of my favorites

So you enjoy an espresso without anything in it later in the afternoon? Would you enjoy it in the morning as well or not, and if not, why? Again, curiosity is what is driving this . . .

I always make a cafe au lait for the first cup and have the next 2 (yes, 2 more!) black.

Hahah I’ve seen this trick before!

This is me. I can drink it black but if there’s whole/half&half/2% I’ll add it. Wife also has mentioned that it will make he less hangry if I don’t eat breakfast since it’s not just caffeinated acid in my stomach.

Yep - just trying to ‘gauge’ the board as a whole. It’ll never be done because most folks that are on here never take part in any discussion - hoping many will take part in this . . .

Cheers!

Espresso with a dash of steamed milk “spuma “. Two in the morning.

Definitely in the minority here - don’t drink coffee at all - only tea I consistently drink is Matcha.

Yes I enjoy both. I think in the morning, a larger cup of hot liquid in a larger warm ceramic mug is just comforting and something that I enjoy to start the day on a positive note. More of a sip and read type deal… I also just don’t really think milk in the afternoon sounds appealing … part of that may be just living in Florida?

But my guess is that you could probably enjoy that espresso without any milk as well perhaps?

Minority but it still ‘works’ - with milk or without? My guess knowing you is without - and perhaps ‘stronger’ than others?

At home

iced with sparkling water. No sweetner.

When out - I might do a matcha with oat milk - a local tea spot has matcha + fresh lychee + sparkling water which is very refreshing.

Rarely drink hot matcha

Interesting . . . did you ever drink coffee and if so, how did you take it? And do you not like hot beverages in general?

Cheers

Why not? What is there ‘not’ to do? Perhaps folks preferences are different than what one might expect or?!?!?
